Kuhio Beach Grill

The Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa has two restaurants inside it. One is the Kuhio Beach Grill. My husband and I were introduced to it on our first full day on the island. We had a resort credit and used it there to eat breakfast. They had a buffet and a menu as well. All of it was exorbitantly priced, but it was also the best breakfast we had while in Oahu.

Both of our meals together plus tip were probably close to $100.00, hence the exorbitant bit. Their buffet was worse, priced at $48.00 per person. However, even on the beach in Waikiki as we were, a good breakfast was hard to find. I would highly recommend eating there at least once.

I got the Big Kahuna which included sausage, polish sausage, spam, bacon, fried rice, and two eggs cooked to your specification. My husband got their egg white frittata. As you can see, their presentation was definitely on point. But the food was delicious. The fried rice was amazing, and I even enjoyed the spam. Despite the waitress’ comments that Thomas would have to help me finish, I was able to eat about 90% of the breakfast. Thomas loved his frittata as well.

The setting was lovely as well. You could see the beach and the sidewalk from the restaurant, making people watching an enjoyable pastime whilst eating. The service was good and it was neat and clean. We went twice and got in easily both times, around 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. Definitely make it  a stop at least once when you visit Waikiki!
